fix it friday

every week, iheartfaces hosts a fix-it-friday, where an image is submitted and everyone gets a chance to try their hand at editing it.  it's a great way to see others' work and ideas, and learn more about your own visions.  i don't participate often, but i loved this weeks' image so wanted to try my hand at it.
